This team building workshop will enable the members of your workgroup to openly and honestly review how they are working together, and identify in a structured way the opportunities that exist to enhance their teamwork and team-effectiveness.
In cultivating a healthy spirit of co-operative teamwork, the organisation will gain enduring benefits in both improved productivity and the quality of service delivery - whilst individual team members can benefit from increased levels of morale through a more rewarding teamwork environment.
Before attending the team building workshop, members anonymously complete a team development survey, evaluating the team against twenty essential teamwork elements - for example rating their perception of the degree of common purpose, trust, helpfulness, role clarity and constructive conflict resolution typically present within the group. The teamwork survey helps the team identify the critical issues that need to be addressed during the workshop.
The entire design, duration and focus of the team building session is customised to meet the needs and requirements of the team, but could include themes such as......
- Clarifying roles and expectations of team members
- Improving the productivity of team-meetings
- Team decision making and the value of some robust discussion
- Understanding and respecting individual differences
- Techniques for dealing constructively with conflict in the team
- Re-visiting team purpose, goals and team values
- Appreciating the capabilities and skills within the team
